my story
From engineer to strategic advisor to the C-suite.
14 years. Two capital-intensive industries. One consistent mandate: architect the data infrastructure that allows leadership to act with absolute confidence.
The Foundation
An engineer who learned to advise boards.
I began my career as a Computer Engineer — trained to isolate the precise root cause of a system failure before ever touching a single component. That instinct for structured diagnosis never left me. It simply found a larger, more complex system to work on: the way organisations make decisions.
For over a decade, I served as the analytical backbone for one of Qatar's largest real estate groups. I was not the analyst who sent reports upstairs. I was the strategist in the room when the decisions were made — modelling the scenarios before the board meeting, advising the Chairman on what the data actually meant for the organisation's next five years.
During that tenure, I directed more than QAR 20 billion in development decisions across 32 high-value projects, improving forecast accuracy by 25% and reducing executive decision cycles by 30%.
"Most organisations have data. Few have the infrastructure to act on it with confidence. I build that infrastructure — and I stay until the decisions are made, not just until the report is delivered."
In 2012, my mandate expanded beyond the boardroom entirely. I was appointed as the principal liaison between my company's Chairman, Board, and CEO and two of the most demanding authorities in the world — FIFA and Qatar's Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy. I managed the reporting, negotiations, and readiness commitments that connected our real estate portfolio to Qatar's obligations as a World Cup host nation, for the full ten-year preparation cycle.
Since 2024, I have brought that same discipline to the FMCG sector — designing commercial intelligence systems, KPI architectures, and regional data governance frameworks that have delivered 20% market coverage growth and a 27% improvement in items sold per customer.
The sector changed. The mandate did not: connect data to decisions that move the business forward.
